Perpeto bot operates on the principle of quantitative trading.
This means it uses a mechanical strategy with predefined rules for buying and selling cryptocurrencies.
The bot opens only buy (long) positions which are always closed in profit. After the start, the bot opens an initial position.
If the price goes down: the bot opens further positions based on its strategy settings.
If the price goes up: the bot is closing the positions, so all positions are closed always in profit.
Our ambition is not to convince you about the future of crypto currencies. It is up to you if you believe whether the price will grow in the future. Perpeto is just a tool you can use to utilize the market price movements. Simply put, buying when the price goes down and selling when the price goes up.
After registration, you have 14 days to try Perpeto entirely for free. All you need is just your email address. To use Perpeto after the trial period, make sure you purchase the Full version and Perpeto Points before the trial period ends (see Pricing details here). Points are essential for operating the bots; thus, it is crucial to maintain enough Points on your Perpeto account to avoid interruption of the service. Every time the bot successfully closes a position with profit, a small number of Points will be deducted from your account.
Setting up your Perpeto bot
To initiate your bot, you must connect Perpeto to your crypto exchange account via API (see instructions here). Ensure you have sufficient funds (EUR or USDT, referred to as the Base currency) in your account for trading. Fundamentally, opening a position means purchasing crypto with your Base currency, whereas closing a position entails selling the same amount of crypto at a higher price with a small profit. Example: opening a position means buying e.g. Bitcoin for 20 EUR, then when the price goes up the position is closed at a higher price with profit. In this case, it means selling that same amount of Bitcoin that was bought for e.g. 20,30 EUR, creating 0,30 EUR profit.
If the price decreases and reaches a specific threshold, the bot delays opening a new position, awaiting a minor upward correction (callback). This strategy accounts for the cryptocurrency market’s volatility, where prices can shift rapidly. Consequently, if there’s a swift decline in price, the bot capitalizes on this by opening a new position at a more favorable (lower) price.
Similar to the opening a new position operates the mechanism for closing a position at a profit. For each position, if the price rises above the opening price, the bot doesn’t immediately close the position upon reaching a specific price level. Instead, it waits for a slight downward correction (callback). This strategy enables the bot to close the position at a more advantageous (higher) price, especially in the events of rapid price increases.
We currently offer two predefined strategies with minor differences in settings. Each strategy can open up to a total of 101 positions. The Dynamic strategy opens new positions sooner than the Standard strategy (at a smaller drop from the opening price of the previous position) when prices decline. Conversely, the Standard strategy waits a bit longer, opening new positions only after a somewhat larger price drop, thus at a lower price. This approach allows the Standard strategy to operate over a wider price range. Meanwhile, the Dynamic strategy opens positions more frequently, which usually leads to more closed trades and therefore higher profits compared to the Standard strategy.
All your funds remain in your crypto exchange account. The minimum position size is either 12 EUR or 12 USDT. For example, with a position size of 12 EUR, the bot will execute buy orders for 12 EUR. The term “position size” refers to the amount of your funds that the bot uses to buy cryptocurrency for each opened position. With a predefined maximum of 101 positions in the strategy settings, the bot can potentially use up to 12 x 101 = 1,212 EUR or USDT. However, it’s not necessary to have this entire amount in your crypto exchange account since the activation of the bot, unless there is a huge price drop. The minimum amount to start the bot is at least 70 EUR or USDT on your linked crypto exchange account. This amount is sufficient just for testing, and for full operation of the bot, it is advisable to have more resources available so that the bot can open new positions in case of a price drop.
